A mythological and fascinating instrument, the ancient harp has resonated in the greatest courts of Europe since the Middle Ages. While it often accompanies the voice, it also has a refined solo repertoire that is all too often overlooked. From the splendours of Italy to Spain and England, Marie-Domitille Murez invites us to explore this rich heritage, which has given rise to so many fantasies between the Renaissance and the early Baroque.
