The history of Recrues d’Essence is directly linked to the festival Royal Juillet Musical de Saint-Hubert. The ensemble was formed to celebrate the keyboard and the fiftieth anniversary of the festival with a colourful repertoire. This year, they are back with a brand-new programme that reflects the theme of Les Festivals de Wallonie: utopia, which literally translates as ‘no place’. The ensemble defies classification and practises the crossover genre by fusing art music with pop music. Everything inspires them. Once again, Recrues d’Essence will take you on a musical journey from the Balkans to Latin America.
