Déjà applaudis au Festival de Stavelot, les artistes de ce concert reviennent avec un bel hommage à Maurice Ravel et son trio à clavier. À leurs côtés, une rareté : une sonate pour violoncelle et piano du compositeur français Jean Huré, rarement jouée. Une sonate de Mozart viendra compléter le programme, écho à l’admiration que Ravel portait à ce maître du classicisme.
Already acclaimed at the Stavelot Festival, the artists in this concert return with a fine tribute to Maurice Ravel and his keyboard trio. Alongside them, a rarely performed sonata for cello and piano by French composer Jean Huré. A Mozart sonata completes the program, echoing Ravel's admiration for this master of classicism.
