Founded by three friends, the spirit of the Kheops Ensemble never changes and the years pass by without dimming their musical curiosity. Together with Sophie Karthäuser, who is always eagerly awaited at the Festival, the ensemble offers a programme full of joy and emotion, in the company of Schubert and Richard Strauss, whose chamber music version of the Four Last Songs has been specially produced by Kheops for the Festival’s closing concert.
