After 27 years devoted to running major opera institutions (La Monnaie, Festival of Aix-en-Provence), Bernard Foccroulle has returned to his first love: playing the organ and the harpsichord, composing, writing and teaching. Activities close to his heart, which he has never given up, but which he has had to restrict for many reasons. He proposes a recital devoted entirely to the European roots of the work of Johann Sebastian Bach’s oeuvre (and whose complete organ works Foccroulle has recorded for the Ricercar label).
